Falcon Corporation Limited has appointed Mrs Audrey Joe-Ezigbo as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2026. This comes as the founding Managing Director, Professor Joseph Ezigbo, prepares to retire after 31 years.
In a statement on Tuesday, August 5, the Nigerian gas and energy company said that Joe-Ezigbo, its co-founder and current Deputy Managing Director, will assume leadership after decades of building the company alongside Ezigbo.
Established in 1994, Falcon Corporation has become a major player in Nigeria’s gas and energy sector.
“It has been the honour of my professional life to lead Falcon through more than three decades of growth and transformation,” Joseph Ezigbo said. “Audrey’s unparalleled experience, strategic vision, and commitment to excellence are exactly what Falcon needs as it enters its next era.”
Furthermore, the company said Audrey Joe-Ezigbo brings over 30 years of executive experience in the energy sector and has led many major initiatives. The Board of Directors also said her appointment reflects her strong corporate governance, financial management, and large-scale operations record.
“As a co-founder of Falcon, I have been deeply involved in shaping its vision, growth, and successes,” Audrey Joe-Ezigbo said. “I will accelerate Falcon’s transformative growth, drive operational excellence, and deliver sustained value to stakeholders while positively impacting our communities.”
Falcon said the leadership change forms part of a succession plan to ensure continuity and progress, with the company’s mission to deliver innovative energy solutions and uphold corporate and environmental responsibility remaining unchanged.
