Home Owner, EcoFlow Partner to Expand Solar, Battery Access

  • Homeowner partnered with Ecoflow, a U.S. and European Company, to roll out affordable, portable solar and battery solutions across Nigeria.
  • The deal combines advanced technology with flexible financing to replace generators and expand reliable clean energy access.

Home Owner, a Nigerian property technology firm, has partnered with Ecoflow, a U.S. and European-based portable power brand, to roll out smart, portable, and affordable solar and battery solutions across Nigeria. The move aims to ease Nigeria’s energy crisis.

Furthermore, the partnership will combine EcoFlow’s advanced technology with Home Owner’s distribution and financing network, enabling households, small businesses, health facilities, and entrepreneurs – on or off the grid – to access fast-charging portable lithium power stations, lithium home backup systems, and expandable solar panels.

Home Owner Chief Executive Prince Mohammed Salau said the arrangement allows salary earners and businesses to avoid the high costs of generators and fuel by spreading payments rather than paying upfront.

“Dealers, distributors, and resellers across Nigeria can now access and stock EcoFlow’s full range of solar systems, portable batteries, and inverters on flexible terms, removing the capital barriers that have long slowed energy access,” Salau said.

He added that the deal would help businesses grow faster, power homes, and sustain communities during grid failures. Although EcoFlow launched with Home Owner in April, Salau said the official announcement came later to ensure the products matched Nigeria’s market realities, including financing options, after-sales care, and scalability.

“Solving Nigeria’s power challenges is not just about importing technology,” he said. “It is about dignity, freedom, and allowing everyone to build their lives without fear of darkness.” He added that the partnership supports the Presidency’s Renewable Hope Agenda for a green economy.

Salau said the milestone makes Home Owner the first in its industry globally to secure such a partnership, positioning it to drive market inclusivity across sectors, based on the company’s belief that “everyone is a homeowner.”
