Craigwal Petroshore Limited, an engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning company, has hosted a one-week safety workshop for oil and gas sector professionals and engineers.

In a statement issued on Friday, September 12, the company said the workshop reinforced its commitment to excellence, safety, quality, and sustainable project execution across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Meanwhile, the Hazard & Operability Constructability Review workshop, held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, brought together the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Exploration & Production, WAGL Energy Limited, McKain Energy, and other stakeholders.

The sessions convened project stakeholders, technical experts, and regulatory representatives to review design integrity, operational safety, and constructability for an ongoing project. Participants also examined challenges and proposed practical solutions, focusing on hazard identification, safety integrity validation, layer of protection analysis, and efficient execution methodologies.

“The sessions reinforced the critical importance of proactive safety measures in operations spanning acquisition, licensing, installations, and both onshore and offshore activities,” the company stated.

In addition, Craigwal Petroshore Limited’s Head of Strategic Partnerships and Innovation, George Onuma, described the exercise as proof of the firm’s commitment to global best practices.
