Shell Showcases Impact on Nigeria’s Economy at NAPE Exhibition

Shell reaffirmed its commitment to Nigeria’s economic growth and sustainable energy development during the 43rd Annual Conference and Exhibition of the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE) in Lagos. The event, which celebrated NAPE’s 50th anniversary, focused on advancing energy security and sustainability nationwide.

As a Titanium sponsor, Shell showcased the diversity of its operations through subsidiaries such as Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo), Shell Nigeria Gas, All On, and Daystar Power Limited. Together, these entities contribute to energy security, job creation, and expanded access to renewable energy in Nigeria.

Throughout the exhibition, Shell’s booth attracted several high-profile visitors, including the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, and the Governor of Ondo State, Dr Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

Marno de Jong, Executive Vice President of Shell Nigeria and Country Chair of Shell Companies in Nigeria, highlighted the company’s six-decade partnership with the nation. He emphasised Shell’s continued investment in projects such as Bonga North and HI, reflecting its enduring commitment to national progress.
