Inox Green Secures 5GW O&M Deal

  • Inox Green O&M services will support the development of 2.5 GW of wind and 2.5 GW of solar capacity across India.
  • The services will also improve long-term reliability and performance of renewable assets under the INOXGFL–KP Group partnership.

Inox Green Energy Services Ltd., one of India’s leading renewable operations and maintenance (O&M) providers, has announced a significant step in the nation’s clean energy progress.

Recently, the company confirmed that its parent firm, Inox Wind Limited, together with Inox Solar Limited, has signed two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with KP Energy Ltd. and KPI Green Ltd. These agreements, moreover, represent a firm commitment to accelerating the deployment of renewable power across several Indian states.

The MoUs set out plans to develop 2.5 gigawatts (GW) of wind projects and 2.5 GW of solar projects. Together, these capacities create a substantial 5 GW pipeline. Additionally, the collaboration positions both groups as key contributors to India’s long-term renewable energy ambitions. It also demonstrates a shared commitment to developing clean-energy infrastructure and enhancing domestic capabilities in manufacturing and project development.

Under the agreements, Inox Green will manage all operations and maintenance work for the wind turbine generators and solar modules. As a result, the company will hold a central role in ensuring dependable performance across all assets.

Consequently, the responsibility supports high availability, stable output and consistent generation. Furthermore, its involvement highlights the importance of professional O&M services in safeguarding investor returns and supporting national grid stability.

The partnership benefits from the strengths of each organisation. Inox Wind, for example, contributes extensive experience in turbine manufacturing and project execution. Similarly, Inox Solar adds proven expertise in solar-module production.

Meanwhile, KP Energy and KPI Green offer strong project development capabilities and an expanding renewable energy footprint across India. Collectively, the groups establish a balanced development ecosystem that can deliver clean-energy capacity more effectively and more rapidly.

As India works towards ambitious renewable-energy targets, such alliances have become increasingly essential. They accelerate project timelines, improve long-term energy security and encourage greater private-sector participation. In turn, these developments support sustainable sector growth and help maintain steady investment momentum.

Ultimately, the 5 GW partnership stands as a significant boost for India’s energy transition. With Inox Green leading O&M delivery, the collaboration will ensure that newly developed renewable assets remain reliable, productive and aligned with the nation’s broader clean-energy objectives.
