- LONGi unveils its Energy Storage One-Stop Solution and Stability Triangle framework, integrating solar, storage, and hydrogen for resilient, zero-carbon energy systems.
- The company prioritises safety and reliability through collaboration with PotisEdge and establishes Europe’s first Solar-Storage Innovation Centre.
LONGi has officially entered the energy storage sector with the launch of its LONGi Energy Storage One-Stop Solution in London. The company said the move marks its evolution from a photovoltaic manufacturer to a full Solar-Storage-Hydrogen energy solutions provider.
Dennis She, LONGi Vice President, introduced the Stability Triangle energy framework, which centres on solar, storage, and hydrogen. He also said solar generates clean energy, storage stabilises the power system, and hydrogen balances it, creating a resilient and affordable zero-carbon energy system.
LONGi already holds top technologies in PV and hydrogen, including a HIBC cell efficiency of 27.81% and the world-leading ALK electrolyzer capacity. The company said its entry into storage completes a closed loop across the Solar-Storage-Hydrogen value chain.
Furthermore, she emphasised that safety, reliability, and stability will define competition in energy storage, shifting the focus from technology alone to long-term value. LONGi has partnered with PotisEdge, which has maintained a zero-thermal-runaway record over 12 GWh of energy storage, to ensure technical safety.
LONGi also announced Europe’s first Solar-Storage Technology Innovation Center in London. The centre will provide project consulting, technical training, O&M support, and spare parts services, supporting local customers with full-lifecycle solar-storage solutions.
Meanwhile, LONGi said its energy storage solutions will first be deployed in the UK, Germany, Italy, and Spain to help utilities build smarter, more efficient clean energy systems. The company plans to continue advancing its integrated Solar-Storage-Hydrogen strategy to support the global transition to zero-carbon energy.
