- Qualitas Energy has acquired a 91 MW wind portfolio from PNE AG, including projects under construction and greenfield developments in Germany.

Qualitas Energy announced the acquisition of a 91 MW wind energy portfolio from PNE AG. The company focuses on investment and development in renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure. PNE AG develops onshore and offshore wind projects in Germany and abroad.
The portfolio includes six projects at different stages of development. Three wind farms in Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse and Brandenburg, with a combined capacity of 40.6 MW, will be transferred on a turnkey basis. These projects are already under construction. Project rights for greenfield wind developments in Hesse add 50.4 MW of planned capacity. Once completed, the portfolio can supply clean energy to more than 60,000 households.
The acquisition supports Qualitas Energy’s growth strategy in Germany. It also strengthens its long-term commitment to the energy transition. The balanced mix of assets enables near-term grid connection while increasing the medium-term development pipeline.
Qualitas Energy highlighted the constructive collaboration with PNE. CEO Johannes Overbeck said the partnership reflects their strategy of working with trusted developers and project owners. He stated that Qualitas Energy can deliver projects efficiently due to its local presence, financial capacity and technical expertise.
PNE AG welcomed the continued partnership. COO Roland Stanze said the transaction shows the flexibility of both teams. He stressed that PNE selects investors who share its quality standards and communication approach. He added that local acceptance remains essential for the success of the energy transition.
Qualitas Energy now manages more than 4 GW of development assets in Germany across over 100 projects. The company acquires, finances, develops, builds and operates onshore wind assets to accelerate decarbonisation. Its German subsidiary employs more than 250 professionals and operates from six hubs: Berlin, Hamburg, Wiesbaden, Trier, Cologne and Stuttgart.
Qualitas Energy’s global portfolio totals 11 GW of renewable assets across several markets. Since 2006, the company has deployed more than €14 billion toward the energy transition.
