BIM Group and the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) have signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement to deepen their partnership and expand collaboration across several strategic sectors, including renewable energy.
Senior executives from both organisations attended the signing ceremony. These included Doan Quoc Huy, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BIM Group, and Nguyen Thanh Tung, Chairman of Vietcombank’s Board of Directors. Representatives from their member units also participated in the event.
The agreement marks a new phase in the relationship between the two organisations. Both sides plan to combine their strengths to expand cooperation in finance, banking services, and strategic investment initiatives.
The partnership between BIM Group and Vietcombank began in 1994. At that time, BIM Group opened its first transaction account with the bank. Since then, Vietcombank has served as a key financial partner for BIM Group and has supported several development projects across different regions of Vietnam.
Under the new agreement, Vietcombank will provide BIM Group with a wide range of financial and banking services. These include credit financing for investment projects, corporate banking services, cash flow management, and tailored financial products that align with BIM Group’s long-term growth plans.
In turn, the partnership will strengthen BIM Group’s financial capacity to expand its operations across its core sectors. These sectors include renewable energy, real estate, tourism and hospitality, and high-tech agriculture.
Both organisations also stated that the agreement will open new opportunities for project development and sustainable investment. In addition, the partnership will support economic growth and promote the expansion of clean energy in Vietnam.
