- Inspection of innovation policies in Nigeria, Tanzania, and Uganda.
- Improvement in Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)
In Sub-Saharan African countries, access to basic human resources has always been a problem. With the occasion of the coronavirus pandemic, it is projected that access to these resources would worsen.
A study conducted to examine the innovation policies put in place to combat the effect of the pandemic on the water-energy-food chain in Nigeria, Tanzania, and Uganda shows there is no significant connection between the pandemic and water and energy.
However, there is a correlation between the pandemic and access to food. Also, due to sensitization, there has been an improvement in Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) practices.
