The feasibility study for the Kenya waste to power project is just beginning this month. The study is expected to take up to six months, according to KenGen, Kenya’s Electricity Generating Company.
The project which is aimed at reducing the rapidly growing garbage pile across the country is to be located at Nairobi’s Dandara Dumpsite. KenGen assures that both the project’s viability and cost would be known after the six months of the study.
