Chinese module manufacturer JinkoSolar has announced a new solar module aimed at distributed electricity generation projects, especially rooftop solar installations. The new module called the Tiger Pro 54HC panel is available in five versions, and the power ratings range from 395W to 415 W. The efficiency of the panels will range from 20.28 per cent to 21.3 per cent. All five versions of the module are sized at 1,718×1,134×30mm and weigh 22kg.

The module can be utilised at operating temperatures of between -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius. The module also provides mechanical load safety and reliability under extreme weather conditions.
According to a statement by Jinko, “the panel is suitable for a variety of distributed energy resources (DER), the new Tiger Pro modules feature a redesign in terms of size and weight, two of the most important features to fit the height and arm-length of installers, which are also user-friendly for rooftop installation.”
