Exus to Manage 700MW Travers Solar Farm

  • The project is set to be completed next year.

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, project financier for the 700 MW Travers Solar Project in Canada has selected Exus Management Partners to manage the project.  The project is expected to commence operations by the end of 2022. This would be the first Canadian project managed by Exus.

The Danish renewables investor selected the Spanish asset manager Exus to oversee the project set to be developed in Vulcan County, Alberta. According to Exus, the company won the management contract after partaking in a competitive bidding process.

The project was initially scheduled to commence in 2019, however, it suffered a delay. The initial project was supposed to have a generation capacity of only 400. Last February, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners invested CA$500 million (US$403 million) in teh project. The Travers Solar project has been described by the company as the largest in Canada.
