- Says Ministry will seek alternate sources of electricity

The Minister of Power, Sale Mamman has assured Nigerians of the commitment of the Ministry of Power to improving the electricity supply in the country. He made this known while speaking to reporters during the Eid-el Kabir celebrations in Jalingo, Taraba state. He stated that communities would soon enjoy an uninterrupted electricity supply in the country.
He also stated that the Ministry is making plans to connect communities to the national grid through alternate sources of electricity. Mamman urged Nigerians to embrace peace, saying only peaceful coexistence would bring development. He further called on agitators to give peace a chance and contribute to the ‘one Nigeria project’. According to him, we do not have another country of our own, and we must join hands together to build the Nigeria of our dream.
