Nigerians Prosper Everywhere but in Nigeria

Nigerians are known worldwide to be very resourceful and intelligent. In a lot of Ivy League schools, the majority of their best graduating students are Nigerian. Even in international workforces, competitions, and industries, Nigerians perform remarkably. So the question now is, why do Nigerians prosper everywhere but in Nigeria?

The most obvious and probable answer is that the environment these Nigerians grow and learn abroad is more conducive and encouraging. The international economies are in constant development and, as such, continuously enable the residents.

Coming home to employ the promising economy strategy and wondering why it does not work here, it should be known that one step on the bedrock of the development of any country is energy. Unfortunately, reliable and sustainable energy is one thing Nigeria does not have enough of. This greatly explains why Nigerians prosper everywhere but in Nigeria.

With adequate energy sources in all sectors, the citizenry would be motivated to try and grow in the country instead of making plans to leave the country. Also, the cost of manufacturing goods would reduce and, in turn, combat inflation. There would also be the growth of the transportation and health sectors.

People tend to do better in environments they deem to be favourable. Nobody wants to invest in a country that lacks the means to protect its citizens’ interests. An energised economy would go a long way in ensuring the country’s growth and development and encourage Nigerians not to be afraid of growing in their country. By this, the glory of Nigerians would not be lost to other countries. Essentially, it would correct the idea that Nigerians prosper everywhere but in Nigeria.
