Battling rising temperatures, wildfires and drought, California is seeking to import 30MW emergency gas-fired generators to solve capacity shortages. According to Bloomberg, the California Department of Water Resources is procuring the generator sets following a state of emergency declared by Governor Gavin Newsom.
