Solar module maker Seraphim has commenced the construction on the latest phases of its 10GW solar module manufacturing facility in Jinzhai, China. The company held a groundbreaking ceremony last Saturday to signify the commencement of construction.
The first phase of the project was completed and started operation in June earlier this year. The second and third phases are expected to begin commercial operations in 2022 and 2023, respectively. Seraphim believes that the gigafactory will increase its global competitiveness when it becomes fully operational.
