- The Abeokuta-Sagamu-Mowe line has made significant progress

In a statement to newsmen, Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) has stated that the Abeokuta-Sagamu-Mowe dual circuit line construction has made significant progress. The Chief Technical Officer IBEDC, Mr Akin Abiodun, has confirmed that the construction works have reached an advanced stage.
Mr Abiodun also stated that the construction works were divided into five segments, and the contracts for construction were awarded to different contractors in order to hasten the works. He also stated that the construction had reached 80% completion while the remaining 20% was ongoing, with the contractor working on finishing the works in time.
“On behalf of the Management of IBEDC, I wish to appeal to our customers in Mowe, Ibafo, Magboro and their environs to remain patient and be rest assured of improved supply in the shortest possible time.”
“We are also appealing to our unmetered customers in these localities to be rest assured of getting metered through the National Mass Metering Program (NMMP) and any other scheme that may be approved by the regulator,” Abiodun added.
