- Altus Power, Shell collaborate in rendering integrated renewables solutions.
On Monday, US clean energy firm Altus Power Inc and Shell New Energies US LLC announced a partnership to offer integrated renewable energy and storage solutions.
The collaboration will combine Altus Power’s experience across solar generation, storage and community solar with Shell’s expertise in electric mobility, stationary battery storage, load management and renewable power supply.
The companies said they would examine the potential of developing a fully integrated renewable energy supply and onsite energy services for customers. Their offerings will also aim at property portfolios managed by commercial real estate services firm CBRE Group Inc (NYSE: CBRE), which has a strategic partnership with Altus Power. In addition, special-purpose acquisition company CBRE Acquisition Holdings Inc (NYSE: CBAH), which a subsidiary of CBRE sponsors, is set to merge with Altus Power and make it a listed company under a deal announced in July.
