- Past Zesa bosses’ undergoes trial.
The hearing of former Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (Zesa Holdings), CEO, Joshua Chimfamba and two other top officials begins today. The trial at the Harare Magistrates Court is on the allegations of appointing a city law firm as debt collectors without approval from the power utility company’s board.
Chifamba, in conjunction with Zesa Holdings company secretary Saidi Sangula and corporate manager, Gariki Murambiwa will appear in court on criminal abuse of office as public officers’ charges.
The trio denied the charges when they appeared before Harare regional magistrate Mrs Vongai Guwuriro.
