- GRIDCo completes repairs on Kumasi transmission tower

The Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) has announced the completion of works on the damaged towers of the 330-kilo volts (kV) Aboadze-Anwomaso Transmission Line. The damage to the lines was caused by the collapse of a mast at Bogoso.
Speaking at a press conference, the Director of Northern Network Services, Vincent Eugene Boakye, stated that as a result of the incident, residents of the affected areas have been without supply from 6.00 pm daily. Boakye added that GRIDCo repaired the damaged transmission lines ahead of schedule.
GRIDCo further assured of its commitment to providing reliable electricity supply nationwide.
