TotalEnergies has signed an agreement to deliver a 2.7MWp solar rooftop system for Thai paint producer TOA Paint. The rooftop solar system will be deployed at TOA Paint’s factory in the province of Samut Prakan. According to TotalEnergies, the system will comprise 5,022 modules and generate about 3,970kWh of clean energy manually, enough to meet 27 percent of the factory’s energy needs.
TotalEnergies will operate the PV system while the paint manufacturer will pay for the energy under a 15 year PPA. TotalEnergies Renewables Distributed Generation has a portfolio of over 600MW of solar projects in development and operation globally. Over 100MW of this capacity is located in Asia.
