The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced scheduled maintenance of its 60MVA 132/33kV power transformer in Agu Awka Transmission Substation. The company made this announcement via its Twitter handle.
The operation, which will commence from 10 am to 3 pm, will enable the company’s maintenance crew to refill the oil in the Conservator Tank of transformer T1 in the substation.
According to the announcement, the exercise will affect only areas that take supply from Agu Awka and Airport 33kV feeders from the substation. The second transformer T2, in the substation and the Nibo Transmission Substation, is fully in service.
