- Rosario Solar requests for contractors to submit an expression of interest engineering
- The deadline for proposal submissions is March 31, 2022
- The project will begin commercial operations on April 30, 2024.
Rosario Solar, a Dhamija Group special purpose company, has requested contractors to submit expressions of interest (EoIs) for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a 113MW solar power project in Romania’s Bucsani district. In addition, the winning bidder will be responsible for the project’s operation and maintenance.
Only bifacial modules with a 25.9% efficiency will be used for the project. Jinko, Trina Solar, LONGi, and Risen Solar are among the prospective module vendors. The project will use inverters with a maximum AC output power of 6.25MW and a 98.7% efficiency rating. The potential providers for the project include ABB, SMA Solar, and Sungrow.
The project will be connected to the national transport PowerGrid via a 400 kV substation connected in an in-out configuration to one of Transelectrica’s two powerlines in the area.
The deadline for proposal submissions is March 31, 2022. The project’s early development work will begin on April 15, and the PPA negotiation will be completed by May 1. Finally, on September 2, the EPC and O&M will be chosen. The project will begin commercial operations on April 30, 2024.
