Spanish forestry and energy group Greenalia has announced its intention to build a 50MWp solar farm in Valencia. Greenalia’s project proposal has been submitted for public consultation in Galicia’s official gazette and the Environmental Impact Study (EIA).
According to Renewablesnow, the company will invest over EUR 35 million (USD 38.4m) to develop the Casa Mosen solar farm. The project will be situated in the municipality of Salinas, Alicante province. Casa Mosen is designed to feature 86,242 solar panels. Once in operation, the solar plant is expected to generate 106,970MWh of clean electricity per year, enough to meet the renewable energy demand of more than 21,500 families.
