The Romanian engineering and technology company Simtel Team has announced that it has signed a partnership with industrial and logistics developer CTP Romania to construct and install a rooftop photovoltaic system with an installed capacity of 11MWp. The facility is set to be the largest in Romania.
According to a statement by the company, the photovoltaic system, to be designed and built by Simtel Team on buildings located in CTPark Bucharest West, will have 30,000 photovoltaic panels. The first year of operation will produce 13,524,000kWh, which can practically supply 3,705 households and reduce carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere by 17,581 tonnes per year.
