- Tronox Holdings engages SOLA Group in a PPA agreement.
Tronox Holdings, a leading company in the manufacture of titanium dioxide pigment, has entered into a power purchase agreement (PPA) with SOLA Group, a South African independent power producer.
The agreement will see SOLA Group deliver 200MW of solar power to Tronox for its mining and smelting activities in South Africa. The project, expected to start in the last quarter of 2023, forms part of Tronox Holdings’ plans in the race towards global decarbonisation and achieving net-zero by 2050.
