HIF Global, an E-fuels multinational, has announced that it has opened an office in Berlin, Germany. The new office will lead operations of the newly launched unit HIF Europe, Middle East, and Africa (HIF EMEA).

The company, based in Berlin, will help establish HIF Global’s e-fuels as a market player in the EMEA region. This will start with fuels produced at the HIF-owned Haru Oni facility in Southern Chile. The Haru Oni facility will become operational later in 2022.

The new business unit will develop e-fuel projects in the EMEA region for the region.

The announcement was made after HIF Global had just acquired a location in Matagorda County, Texas, as the site of its first e-fuels facility in North America. The Texas-based facility will also have wind power, captured CO2, and green hydrogen used for the production of e-fuels.
