Savannah Energy Plc announced on Monday that its 80 per cent owned subsidiary has begun to sell gas to Axxela Limited’s subsidiary, Central Horizon Gas Company Limited, in Nigeria. The London-listed, Africa-focused oil-and-gas company said it will supply up to 5 million standard cubic feet of gas a day for an initial period of a year.
It noted that the Gas distribution company CHGC has a 17-kilometre pipeline network with a capacity of 50 million standard cubic feet a day, providing natural gas in the Trans Amadi Industrial area of Port Harcourt as well as the Greater Port Harcourt area.
