GameChange Solar, a US-based solar racking manufacturer, has stated that it will be making an expansion to its tracker tube manufacturing capacity at home to 14 GW from 2023.
The company is building momentum to commence the operation of a 6 GW tracker tube line in February 2023. The automated facility is planned to be situated in the Midwest. GameChange solar made this public but gave no further details about the project. The facility is geared at supporting the company’s expansion in the US.
“As our customers grow their business, GameChange is committed to continuing to grow our substantial US manufacturing base to allow for fast deliveries and flexibility in our supply chain,” said Derick Botha, Chief Commercial Officer at GameChange Solar.
The website of GameChaange solar indicates that the company has up to 30 GW of available production capacity for crucial systems, including 12 GW in the US. In addition, more than 21 GW of its solar racking systems has been sold to clients, including First Solar, China’s Jinko Solar, Canadian Solar and Hanwha.
