According to the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) of the Egyptian Cabinet, Egypt leads the list of Arab nations in the production of wind power and solar energy, with 3.5 gigawatts of capacity and expects to reach 6.8 gigawatts in 2024.
The UAE (2.6 gigawatts), Morocco (1.9 gigawatts), Jordan (1.7 gigawatts), and Saudi Arabia are in front of the nation (0.78 gigawatts).
The IDSC noted that Egypt would begin running the 100 megawatts Ain Sukhna green hydrogen plant in conjunction with hosting the UN Climate Change Conference in November.
