- PNE invests € 1.6bn in green energy.
- Both personal cash and external project financing will be included in the projected assets.
PNE AG, a German renewable energy firm with a concentration on wind power, intends to invest around €1.6 billion by 2027 to increase the capacity of its green energy portfolio.
Through a significant development of onshore wind and solar energy, the company hopes to raise its electricity generation capacity to 1,500 MW/MWp by then from 283 MW at the end of September.
PNE’s solar power plants are located in Italy and Spain, but its onshore wind investments are concentrated in Germany, France, and Poland markets. Both personal cash and external project financing will be included in the projected assets.
Additional expenditures will also be made to expand project development and future technologies. To nearly quadruple its project pipeline from 11.4 GW/GWP in September to over 20 GW/GWp by 2027 is the goal of the Cuxhaven-based renewable energy provider. €£
The markets for internal power generation will not accept wind and solar projects that have already been established. These projects, with a combined capacity of more than 600 MW/MWp, are what the company hopes to sell each year. More than 3,500 MW of solar and wind projects will be managed under the services segment’s expansion.
