Ola Electric has managed to set a new sales record of over 25,000 electric scooters sold in India in December 2022.
The company claims that this is the highest-ever sales number for any EV maker in India gaining 30 percent market share.
The company recently launched its most affordable model – the Ola S1 Air which has been priced at Rs 84,999 has been a successful one. This model gets lesser features and styling that is marginally less aspirational than the Pro models.
Ola Electric founder CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said that 2022 has proven to be the inflection point in India’s journey towards becoming a global EV hub.
