An agreement has been struck between Bloom Energy Corp and Telam Partners, a Barcelona-based advisory firm. The partnership is aimed at bringing Bloom’s solid oxide-based technology to the green hydrogen markets of Spain and Portugal, both companies revealed on Monday.
Telam Partners, specialized in financing and market entry into the energy sector, alongside infrastructure, and technology projects, will collaborate with Bloom to market its electrolyser and the solid oxide fuel-cell (SOFC) product Bloom Energy Server.
The Bloom electrolyser is very applicable for large-scale installations and projects including ammonia and renewable energy fuels synthesis, that can be integrated with the electrolyser. The Energy Server SOFCs will be marketed as a solution for port operations to serve as a cleaner alternative to auxiliary diesel generators typically used for shore power, the partners said.
The alliance with Telam Partners is Bloom Energy’s first deal in the Iberian Peninsula, being drawn to the market by the commitments of both Spain and Portugal to become green hydrogen hubs. The company will also join power generation and hydrogen conferences across the peninsula to exhibit its products and solution, the statement reads.
