Obtaining enough climate funding, mainly through the African Carbon Market Initiative, is one of the objectives of the Federal Government in pursuing a just energy transformation strategy, according to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) (ACMI).
While hosting a delegation from the Rocky Mountain Institute, a global think tank active in the energy transition debate for the past 40 years, he made this statement yesterday.
Osinbajo had virtually attended a meeting of the ACMI Steering Committee to discuss the status of the initiatives to expand the market in Nigeria and Africa.
