Solar Street Light Installation to Commence in Two LGA’s in Kwara State

  • The Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, began installing solar street lights in the Ayegbami and Akerebiata communities in the Ibagun ward of Ilorin East LGA.
  • Elated community members gathered to receive the street lights and later offered special prayers for the governor and members of his administration.

On Tuesday, the Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, began installing solar street lights in the Ayegbami and Akerebiata communities in the Ibagun ward of Ilorin East Local Government Area(LGA) of the state. The solar street light poles and their components were presented to the leaders of the two communities by the state House of Assembly member-elect for the Ilorin East constituency, Hajia Arinola Lawal.

The House of Assembly member-elect, represented by Alhaji Bolaji Are, said that the gesture was in continuation of the excellent work of AbdulRazaq. She assured them of more dividends of democracy during the second term of office of the governor.

The Special Adviser on Strategy to the state governor, Alhaji Saadu Salahu, on behalf of all political office holders in the Ibagun ward, thanked the governor and Hajia Lawal for their kind gesture. Elated members of the community who gathered to receive the street lights later offered special prayers for the governor and members of his administration.

The chairman of the Ayegbami community, Alhaji Salihu Alabi, expressed the appreciation of the people in the community to the governor for carrying them along in the scheme of things. He assured the governor of the continued support of the people for his administration.
