PNE AG, a renewables developer, has won three projects totalling 26.4 MW in Germany’s latest tender for onshore wind power capacity.
The German-based company secured tariffs for all projects submitted in the competitive round held by the Federal Network Agency “Bundesnetzagentur”.
The three wind farms include the 13.2-MWOdensachsen, which will be built in the central German state of Hesse; the 7.2-mw Zinndorf plant, which will start spinning its turbines in Brandenburg state, northeastern Germany; and Stuvenborn, with a capacity of 6 MW; will be located in the country’s northernmost state of Schleswig-Holstein.
Germany allocated contracts to 129 projects with a combined capacity of 1,795 MW submitted in a 2.5-GW tender for onshore wind turbine capacity. Projects in the competitive round were awarded tariffs of EUR 0.0725 per kWh and EUR 0.0735 per kWh.
