AI has proven effective in monitoring greenhouse gases, detecting forest fires, and advancing renewable energy. The AI for Climate and Nature Grand Challenge fosters collaboration among stakeholders and aims to accelerate progress towards sustainability through AI-based solutions.
Innovators will receive funding, mentorship, and resources to scale their ideas. The Grand Challenge spans three years and focuses on sustainable protein development, biodiversity conservation, and power grid optimisation.
It’s open to global innovators, ensuring inclusivity. Submissions for the first cycle begin in May 2024. Winners will be announced at the Bezos Earth Fund-TED event in September 2024.
