The Ekiti State Government urges electricity distributors to meter all consumers and end estimated billing. Prof. Mobolaji Aluko, Infrastructure and Public Utilities Commissioner, emphasises the need for accurate billing and stresses that arbitrary bills deter consumers and investors.
Aluko directs distributors to submit metering plans to the Ekiti State Electricity Regulatory Bureau. He insists on certified meter providers for reliability. The aim is to ensure consumers pay only for what they use.
