  • Air Liquide and TotalEnergies established a joint venture over 100 hydrogen fueling stations in Europe.
  • TEAL Mobility, which is equally owned by both firms, will manage around 20 stations starting in 2024.

Air Liquide and TotalEnergies have formed a joint venture to deploy over 100 hydrogen fueling stations for heavy-duty trucks in Europe over the next decade. The venture, TEAL Mobility, will operate around 20 stations under the TotalEnergies brand in five European countries starting in 2024.

TEAL Mobility combines the expertise of both companies in hydrogen technology and filling station management.

Last year, Air Liquide and Siemens Energy AG opened a gigawatt-scale electrolyser factory in Berlin, aiming to ramp up production to 3 GW annually by 2025. TotalEnergies also secured a deal to procure green hydrogen from a 30-MW electrolyser project in Germany.
