AKK Project Currently At About 15% Completion – Mele Kyari

• The AKK gas pipeline project is at 15% completion.

Malam Mele Kyari, the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has announced that the AKK gas project is at 15% completion. The Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) gas pipeline project is Nigeria’s biggest gas project.

Kyari made this statement on Tuesday, Dec. 15^th at the inspection of the project’s second phase in Igabi Local Government Area, Kaduna State.

Upon completion of the project, there is expected to be improved industrialization and ease in the transportation of gas within the country.
