- Anumar has completed the construction of a 120MW solar plant in Bavaria.
- The plant is the largest in Southern Germany and the largest to combine PPA and EEG financing.
Bavarian solar energy installer, Anumar has commissioned its Schornhof solar park in Berg im Gau, 20km southwest of Ingolstadt. The solar PV plant, which has a total capacity of 120MW, is being called the largest ground-mounted solar PV plant in southern Germany. The project was developed by Norwegian company Statkraft which has already secured two long-term PPAs for 90MW of the plant’s capacity. Anumar plans to expand the plant’s capacity by 60MW over the coming year.
Anumar will provide operations and maintenance services for the solar plant. Anumar’s managing director Andreas Klier noted that the Schornhof solar park is the largest connected solar power plant in Bavaria implemented and operated with the help of a combination of PPAs and German renewable energy law the Erneuerbare-Energien-Gesetz (EEG) funding. Anumar is also developing an unsubsidized 300MW solar park in Anklam, a town in the Western Pomerania region of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
