  • The company will deploy CNG conversion hubs across key transport corridors and partner with logistics firms to ensure performance and economic viability.

Atlas Core Energy and Logistics, a clean energy infrastructure company, has launched its Fleet Conversion and Clean Mobility Strategy to accelerate the shift from fossil fuels to cleaner alternatives in Nigeria’s logistics and urban transport sectors.

On Wednesday, July 2, the company announced its Chief Executive Officer, Owoade Emmanuel, is leading the initiative. The strategy targets high-density logistics hubs and urban fleets, aiming to replace diesel and petrol with compressed natural gas (CNG), electric, and hybrid technologies.

Emmanuel, a UK-trained energy strategist and researcher, explained that the programme will deploy CNG conversion hubs and service centres across key transport corridors. These centres will support fleet operators by offering vehicle conversions, regular maintenance, and technical services.

In addition, Atlas Core will partner with logistics firms and fleet operators to ensure the strategy remains economically viable and delivers strong performance. The company will also collaborate with policymakers and technology developers to drive innovation and scale adoption.

“The time for slogans is over. We need to build the systems that power real change,” Emmanuel stated. “Nigeria’s logistics and energy sectors are deeply connected. If we want sustainability, we must invest in the supporting infrastructure.”

He added that the initiative reflects Atlas Core’s broader vision. The company aims to become a key player in Nigeria’s clean energy landscape by building the nation’s energy transition backbone.

With this strategy, Atlas Core positions itself at the forefront of clean mobility in West Africa, signalling a new era for environmentally responsible transportation and logistics.
