Omono Okonkwo currently serves as the Head of Operations at The Electricity Hub, working with a proficient team in coordinating the monthly Power Dialogue. In this role, she oversees the editing of news articles and features on the electricity sector (both on-grid and off-grid) via the Electricity Hub website, and works with the TEH team and several stakeholders to tackle challenges within the electricity sector at state and federal levels. With over a decade of experience in journalism, Omono has made significant contributions to national and international organizations since 2011. Her expertise spans Journalism, Energy Communications, and Human Capital Development. Notably, she held positions as a Country Correspondent for Natural Gas World from 2016 to 2021 and as a Correspondent for Gas Strategies in 2021. In addition, her role as an Energy Journalist at Frontier Africa Reports (November 2021 to October 2022) and as an Energy Analyst at Nairametrics (September 2022 to December 2023) underscores her ability to produce insightful articles focusing on the Nigerian energy industry.
