Bellazir Energy, NCDMB Launch Training for Nigerian Youths

  • Bellazir Energy and the NCDMB launched a training program to equip Nigerian youths with skills in fire alarm, gas detection, and access control.
  • Graduates will join the Board’s skills database for placement in the oil and gas sector.

Bellazir Energy Limited, in partnership with the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), launched a specialised training program on Fire Alarm, Gas Detection, and Access Control Technologies. The program aims to equip Nigerian youths with practical, industry-relevant skills that will strengthen local capacity and enhance employability in the oil and gas sector.

Through this initiative, NCDMB aims to enhance local content and advance technical expertise across the industry, in support of its mandate to achieve 70 per cent in-country value retention by 2027. Upon completing the training, the Board will add participants to its skills database, enabling service and operating companies to engage them for potential opportunities.

Trainees expressed excitement about the program, pledging to utilise the knowledge and skills gained to make meaningful contributions to Nigeria’s growing energy sector.
