- Bolton consumers face planned power cuts
- Residents of some postcodes to be affected
- The cuts to occur on 28th and 29th July
According to Electricity North West, some residents of Bolton are set to experience planned power cuts on Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th. The planned power cuts will affect residents in Lostock and Wingates. At least 100 homes will be affected by the outages.
Electricity North West, the service provider, regularly carries out work across the region to improve the network. According to the utility, the outages would improve electricity supply to affected areas. “We carry out planned power cuts to improve the reliability of your electricity supply, and so our engineers can safely work on the cables that provide electricity to your property.” the utility said.
“We will get your supply back on as soon as we have finished our work.” the utility added.
