The Chairman of the Board of Directors, TRANSCO-CLSG, and the Head, Côte d’Ivoire Énergies (CIE), Mr Amidou Traore, has reassured the members of the Board of Cote d’Ivoire’s commitment to the steady supply of electricity via the Cote d’Ivoire, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea (CLSG) transmission Line. He made this known at the virtual meeting with the members of the Board of TRANSCO-CLSG.
While thanking the governments of member states of the CLSG for the progress made on the CLSG Line project, Mr Traore assured the CLSG that Cote d’Ivoire would provide stable electricity within the framework of this project. “We are doing everything necessary to supply electricity in quantity and quality to ensure the CLSG project is successful,” Traore said.
TRANSCO-CLSG has achieved a 93% completion of the Mano transmission line; the project is set to be commissioned in December 2021.
