Egypt’s Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Dr. Mahmoud Esmat, met with Jordan’s Ambassador to Egypt, Amjad Al-Adayleh, on Thursday, October 10, at the ministry’s headquarters in the Administrative Capital. They focused on enhancing cooperation in electricity, energy interconnection, and renewable energy.

Dr. Esmat emphasised Egypt’s strong ties with Jordan, highlighting their mutual interest in deepening energy partnerships. He pointed to the historical relationship between both nations, stressing the need to develop existing and future electrical interconnection projects.
