Egypt’s President And Japan’s Prime Minister to Explore Cooperation In Renewable Energy

  • The President of Egypt and the Prime Minister of Japan held a summit talk at Al-Ittihadiya Palace to promote relations between Egypt and Japan to the level of strategic partnership.
  • The two leaders discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between their countries in various fields such as investment, trade, education, health, information technology, transport, and renewable energy.

President of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Prime Minister of Japan, Mr Fumio Kishida, held a summit talk at Al-Ittihadiya Palace to promote relations between Egypt and Japan to the level of strategic partnership.

The two leaders discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between their countries in various fields such as investment, trade, education, health, information technology, transport, and renewable energy.

The leaders witnessed the signing ceremony of several memoranda of understanding and agreements between Egypt and Japan in various sectors, including communications and information technology, legal and judicial affairs, Cairo Metro Line 4-Phase 1, and the partnership between the Ministry of International Cooperation and Japan Bank for International Cooperation.
