EKEDC Announces Planned Power Outage

  • EKEDC announces power outages between 7th and 13th March
  • The purpose of the outage is for quality maintenance of the Nitel Injection Substation
  • According to FG, the decline is due to low National Grid allocation caused by GenCos

Between the 7th and 13th of March 2022, the Eko Electricity Distribution Company has declared that there would be planned power outages in Lagos State. The business announced this in a statement.

“The purpose of the outage is to perform quality maintenance, upgrade, and rehabilitation on the Nitel Injection Substation to ensure that the supply is efficient, stable, and reliable.

Customers in Agege Motor Rd, Ladipo, Anipele, Iyala, Fatai Atere, Small scale, Obagun Road, FIRO, Ladipo Mkt, Oduduwa, Obagun, Palm Avenue, Buhari Rd, CAC str, Oshodi Express, Army Cantonment, Adedokun, and the environment will be affected,” the utility noted.
