The developer of the CO2 Battery, Italian business Energy Dome SpA, has raised €40 million in a Series B fundraising round, which was spearheaded by Eni SpA’s corporate venture capital arm.
Energy Dome stated that it will use the new funding to advance the commercialization of its technology and to grow its operations in the US. It further stated that the money would be used to give clients financial assurances.
The company has now received a total of €54 million in funding, including the most recent round.
